El domingo se juega la final de Sudáfrica 2010 y ya se conoce el resultado. Si, más allá de lo que diga el Pulpo Paul o lo que nos pueda decir el periodista deportivo inglés Simon Kuper y el análisis del decano de Cass Business School City University de Londres, Stefan Szymanski. Ni que hablar de lo nuevo que pueda decir JP Morgan. Ahora, el que adelanta un resultado final es el diseñador inglés David Watson. Y no sólo lo adelanta, sino que lo pone por escrito y ya está impreso.
Pero, quién es Watson. Nosotros te lo presentamos hace un mes, en exclusiva, en Tipográficamente. En un reportaje, el diseñador inglés explicaba su proyecto tipográfico, utilizando exclusivamente la Futura y la Gotham Black, para crear un fíxture muy completo y bastante reversible para recaudar fondos para UNICEF.
"I wanted to design a self promotional poster / fixture list that people would enjoy putting up in their home/office and referring to during the World cup month - an antidote if you like to the newspaper wallcharts + pull outs - that in my opinion are functional but bar a few, look terrible and not something you want on your wall - It had to be a great poster to look at and obviously be a functional match planner/fixture list. I wanted to chronicalogically list the fixtures, rather than show all the group games listed together - basically when looking through the fixtures - I want to know who's playing that day and what time, especially for the weekend games when you can watch the games down the pub / around friends etc".
Ahora, David Watson está ofreciendo en su sitio un afiche, con todo el recorrido de España, desde que perdió su primer partido contra Suiza hasta el partido del domingo, diciendo el resultado por el cual se impondrá España ante Holanda.
